Advertising & Marketing/Chris Ignoffo:
-Mark Neibch (1 of the 7 BFB Board Members) presented Boosters with Batavia Feeder Basketball (BFB) donation of New Video Board in Main Gym (cost of Video Board $60,000). BFB started in 1994 and is made up of approx. 250 athletes both girls and boys grades 3rd-8th. Their Mission is to give back to Batavia schools through infrastructure projects. Over 25 years, they have donated $100,000. A few of the items paid for by BFB are the shooting guns, current scoreboard, and wood floor in Rotolo gym. BFB Board includes BHS Girls Bball Coach Kevin Jensen and BHS Boys Bball Coach Jim Nazos, both wanted new score board for BHS gym. Plan is to leave existing scoreboards in place add separate video board 10ftx6ft. Installation will occur during gym renovations this spring/summer. Details on Video Board: includes WiFi access on computer provided with contract, will be used for gameday content during volleyball, bball and wrestling events. Promotional opportunity for Boosters to use video board for sponsorships.
-Question to Booster Board, Can BFB get revenue sharing from Boosters? Either way, BFB is moving forward with Video Board donation. Booster members discussed the possibility of combining options for sponsors for Revenue splitting. Dave Andrews commented District Policy allows only Boosters to solicit sponsorships they have the “sole advertising rights”. PR team to put together proposal for sponsors and Board will approve. Are there any legal issues by giving back to BFB? No, because BFB is not for profit organization.
-Training on new video board will be required for use. Thinking of using LINK or TA programs at BHS for students to get credit for creating content for the board.
-New Video Board has already been approved through School District and signed by Mark Anderson.
-Chris Ignoffo suggests promo for sponsors in May to include an insert regarding “NEW” digital board.
-expecting $52,000-$53,000 in sponsorships this year.
-Raising Canes half year sponsor $750, banner hanging in Main Gym.

Membership/Janet Knecht, Susan Ungstad, Lynn Barus, Tracy Cheaney:
-Membership hits 300!!!!!!
-nothing to report
-Per Nikki Crum, Boys Swim has turned in their dinner dance $. Boys swim hosted and won their Winter Splash Invite last weekend, beating 10 other teams. They also hosted the UEC Conference meet on Saturday, winning both JV and Varsity levels for the second consecutive year. For many swimmers, this was the last meet of the season and the coaches did an amazing job of tapering them resulting in huge time drops. The varsity 200 medley relay set a new pool and meet record and has one of the top times in the state going into sectionals. The sectional meet is on Feb 22 at St Charles East and the state meet is on Feb 28-29 at Evanston Twsp.
Dinner Dance/Jessica Bainter:
-Tickets sales are open! $75/person and $60/coach guest. Increase in tickets prices over last year to cover costs and make a profit versus just covering costs and solely relying on auction items/wine sales/sponsors for profit.
-NEW Sponsors! Plus Returning Sponsors are spending more money! Increased sponsorship levels this year. Example: Toyota last year $1000 level this year $2500. Sponsorship $12,000 YTD and still waiting for more! Last year was around $5000.
-Bond papers and Insurance need to be signed by Executive Board.
-Thanks to Noel for posting/staking Dinner Dance signs around Batavia.
-April 24th deadline.
-Ralph has posted updated Scholarship Application on Booster website.
Tee Off for Turf/Julie Stuttle:
-TOFT was a success, approx. 220 golfers, $250 shy of last year’s totals. Profit $19,804 ($15,000 to Boosters)
